Current Projects

The needs of St. Lucia are many, varied, and ongoing. Karama Connection continues to help St. Lucia wherever possible.

• Fresh WaterWe are currently taking bids to dig a well so St. Lucia has access to its own water supply. Water is a big issue in Tanzania. Currently we are purchasing water and harvesting rain water from the roof of St. Lucia.
• TransportationSt. Lucia is in desperate need for a car. Currently they have to hire drivers to get workers to and from work and take children to school and any hospital visits. A car would save a considerable amount of money and make emergency hospital visits more efficient.
• SalariesKarama is currently paying for some of the staff for St. Lucia.
